Settings Guide

Settings controls your execution behavior, trading shortcuts, and security. The defaults that apply every time you interact with PolyBot.

Open with /settings or from the main menu โ†’ โš™๏ธ Settings.

Settings Menu

๐Ÿš€ Trading modeโ€‹

Controls how aggressively PolyBot pursues execution speed.

ModeBehavior
StandardRequires confirmation for every market order
โšก Fast ModeAuto-submits market orders at or below your threshold; asks confirmation above it
๐Ÿš€ Ludicrous ModeSubmits market orders immediately with no confirmation

If you're placing a few bets on political markets, Standard is fine. If you're running strategies on 5-minute crypto markets, speed matters.

Fast Mode threshold โ€” set the largest market order size that can auto-submit in Fast Mode. Orders above the threshold require confirmation.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Quick-buy amountsโ€‹

The three quick-buy buttons shown when you buy. Defaults: $10 / $25 / $50. Customize to match your normal trade sizes โ€” saves a tap on every trade, which adds up.

Quick Buy Settings

๐Ÿ“‰ Manual buy slippageโ€‹

Sets the slippage tolerance that applies to your manual market buys. Choose a percentage (e.g., 1.5), pick a preset, or set to Any Slippage to always execute regardless of price movement.

  • Tighter (0.5โ€“1%) โ€” better fills, risk of skipped orders in fast markets
  • Looser (5โ€“10%) โ€” reliable execution at potentially worse prices
  • Any โ€” always fills, no price ceiling

Copy trading, strategies, and limit orders use their own slippage settings.

โœ… Auto-claimโ€‹

When enabled, PolyBot automatically redeems winning positions when markets settle โ€” your capital returns to your wallet without manual action.

Without it, unredeemed winnings are locked capital not available for new trades. See Auto-Claim Guide.

๐Ÿ”” Auto-claim notifications โ€” toggle the message you get when a position is auto-redeemed. Mute it if your portfolio is large; the auto-claim still runs.

๐ŸŽฏ Auto-apply default presetโ€‹

When enabled, your default preset (take-profit + stop-loss rules) automatically attaches to every new buy. Every position opens with exit protection โ€” no extra steps.

Requires a default preset configured first.

๐Ÿ“Š PNL card displayโ€‹

Controls how your shareable PnL cards format gains and losses:

  • Percent (%) โ€” +42.5%
  • USD ($) โ€” +$128.40
  • Entry โ€” shows entry price alongside the change

Pick whichever you most want to flex on Telegram.

๐ŸŒ Languageโ€‹

By default the interface follows your Telegram app language. Override it manually from โš™๏ธ Settings โ†’ ๐ŸŒ Language.

See the Languages Guide.

๐Ÿ” Two-factor authentication (2FA)โ€‹

Adds a 6-digit authenticator code requirement for ๐Ÿ’ธ withdrawals and ๐Ÿ”‘ private key exports. Regular trading and browsing are unaffected.

Protects against the scenario where someone accesses your Telegram โ€” without your authenticator, they can't move funds. See 2FA Guide.

๐Ÿ”‘ Private key exportโ€‹

Export your wallet's private key for backup. Shown briefly, auto-deletes after ~60 seconds. Requires 2FA code if enabled.

warning

Never share your private key. Store securely offline. Anyone with it controls your wallet.
