Help & FAQs
Quick answers
What network does PolyBot trade on?
Polygon. Trading uses your pUSD tradable balance and normal PolyBot wallet actions use sponsored gas.
What can I deposit?
Open /wallet → Deposit. The live picker lists supported networks, assets, minimums, and the correct address for each route. Do not fund the Polymarket profile/trading address shown for reference.
What are the fees?
The standard trading fee is currently 1% of volume, but promotions and account overrides can change it. Review the effective fee on the confirmation screen.
How do I trade?
Paste a Polymarket URL, use /search, or open the Mini App with /app. Choose an outcome and use a market or limit order. See Trading.
How do I sell?
Open /portfolio, choose a position, and use market sell or limit sell. If shares are reserved by open limit sells, Telegram offers Cancel & Sell Now and proceeds only after safe cancellation is verified.
Does a stop loss guarantee my exit price?
No. It detects a trigger and attempts an exit. Liquidity, order-book movement, provider availability, and your execution settings determine whether and where it fills. Read the Stop-Loss Guide.
How do I automate?
Use Auto Trader for your rules, HFT for the managed signal strategy, Copy Trading to follow traders, or Presets for reusable exits.
What is in the Mini App?
Markets, portfolio, copy trading, Auto Trader, alerts, orders, stop losses, presets, parlays, World Cup tools, wallet actions, and account controls. Some features remain Telegram-only. See Mini App.
How do referrals work?
Open /refer. The Referral Hub shows current tier percentages, maturity, claim threshold, balance, and code controls. See Referrals.
Troubleshooting
Deposits
- Confirm the source network, asset, amount, and displayed deposit address.
- Check the source-chain transaction and allow time for any bridge or swap.
- Refresh Wallet after the route completes.
- If the picker no longer offers a route, do not send to an old address without support confirmation.
Orders and positions
- A confirmation screen is an estimate; check Orders/Portfolio for final fill status.
- A market order can partially fill or fail when liquidity changes.
- A limit order can remain open indefinitely until filled or canceled.
- If a market sell says shares are reserved, review open limit sells or use Telegram's guarded Cancel & Sell Now flow.
- Refresh after cancellation, fill, settlement, or claim because indexing is not instantaneous.
Withdrawals
- Verify the Polygon destination and selected receive asset.
- Use withdrawable/tradable balance, not net worth.
- Open orders, strategy allocations, pending fees, or settlement can reduce availability.
- Complete the current 2FA prompt if enabled.
Auto Trader, copy trading, and HFT
- Confirm the strategy/subscription is Active rather than Paused.
- Read Activity for skip or failure reasons before changing settings.
- Check tradable balance, allocation, entry windows, slippage, limits, and notification settings.
- One missing signal or unfilled order does not prove HFT is malfunctioning; time-slot routing and post-only execution intentionally skip some opportunities.
Referrals
- Attribution normally requires the new user to start through the link/card before wallet creation.
- Rewards are based on actual attributed on-chain fills and can mature before becoming claimable.
- The live claim threshold, cooldown, and tier values appear in the Referral Hub.
- Codes must be unique and meet the format shown in the editor.
Security and 2FA
- Authenticator codes are time-based; sync the phone clock if a valid code is rejected.
- Store backup codes offline.
- Never share an exported signer key. The Telegram export message is temporary, but a copied key remains sensitive forever.
- If you lose both the authenticator and backup codes, contact support.
Get help
- In the bot:
/help - Community/support: @polybothub
- Include the action, approximate time, market/order identifier, and exact error text. Never include a private key, authenticator code, or backup code.
See the Commands Reference for the maintained direct-message, group, and channel command list.
