Portfolio & Orders Guide

Portfolio is the operational view of your positions. Open /portfolio in Telegram or the Portfolio tab in the Mini App.

Position fields

A position can show:

  • market and selected outcome;
  • shares and average entry price;
  • current marked price;
  • cost and current marked value;
  • unrealized PnL in dollars and percent;
  • shares reserved by open orders; and
  • open, won, lost, redeemable, clearing, or historical state.

PnL is indicative

For a simple open position, unrealized PnL is approximately:

(current marked price - average entry price) × shares

The portfolio uses available market and tracked-position data. It does not mean you can sell the entire position at the displayed price. Actual proceeds depend on bids, size, spread, fees, and slippage.

Realized PnL views use closed tracked positions. They can differ from an external dashboard that uses another time window or accounting method.

Views and sorting

Telegram and the Mini App expose open, resolved, all, and historical/closed views, with controls appropriate to each interface. Telegram supports sorting by date, value, PnL dollars, and PnL percent. The Mini App currently sorts the main position list by value.

Telegram's portfolio statistics can summarize daily and monthly volume and realized PnL. These stats describe tracked activity; they are not tax reporting.

Market sell

  1. Select an open position.
  2. Choose Sell.
  3. Choose a percentage or custom available shares.
  4. Review and submit.

A market sell can fill at a worse price, partially fill, or fail. Position value is not a guaranteed quote.

Open limit sells and reserved shares

Open limit sells reserve shares. Telegram's Cancel & Sell Now action cancels matching open sell orders, verifies that shares are released, and only then submits the market sell.

If cancellation or verification fails, PolyBot submits no market sell. This prevents an unsafe double-sell race. The Mini App currently does not offer this combined guarded action; manage the open limit order first.

Sell all

Telegram can bulk-sell open positions after confirmation. A result may be partial when some positions are reserved, closed, illiquid, or rejected. Review the per-position result instead of assuming every position exited.

Limit sell

A limit sell places a GTC order at your chosen minimum price. It reserves the selected shares until filled or canceled.

This is useful for a take-profit target, but it is not guaranteed to execute. If the market never reaches your price—or reaches it without enough queue priority/liquidity—the order can remain open.

Stop loss and presets

  • Standalone Stop Loss — attach fixed-price, percentage, or trailing monitoring to an individual position.
  • Preset — attach reusable take-profit, stop-loss, and trailing-stop rules.

These are automated exit attempts, not guaranteed protection. Read the Stop-Loss Guide before relying on them.

Resolved positions

  • Won / Redeem — submit redemption so winning shares return value to your pUSD balance.
  • Lost / Clear — clear the settled zero-value position from the active view.
  • Claim all — queue eligible resolved actions together.

“Queued” or “submitted” is not final confirmation. Redemption is wallet-scoped and can wait for settlement, provider response, blockchain confirmation, and indexing. Follow the later status message and avoid duplicate requests while one is pending.

Enable Auto-Claim if you want PolyBot to check periodically for eligible resolved positions.

Parlays in portfolio value

Active parlay submitted value can contribute to the Telegram Positions Value summary before the combo position appears in the standard portfolio list. Track detailed parlay status in Parlays Beta.

PnL cards

Telegram and the Mini App can generate a shareable PnL card for eligible positions. The displayed result follows the selected PnL-card format and current tracked data; it is not proof of realized proceeds.

Orders hub

Open /orders or All Tools → Limit Orders.

The hub/list can show:

  • open order count and reserved value;
  • order side, outcome, limit price, current price, size, and fill progress;
  • links to stop losses, presets, and portfolio;
  • individual cancellation; and
  • Telegram's confirm-before-cancel-all action.

Partial fills remain; only the remaining quantity is canceled.

Troubleshooting

  • Position missing — check open/resolved/history views and refresh after fills or settlement.
  • PnL looks wrong — verify the view, current price, cost basis, and whether you are comparing realized with unrealized PnL.
  • Cannot sell full size — shares may be reserved by open orders or other exit automation.
  • Parlay value but no normal position — use the Parlays screen for combo lifecycle status.
  • Claim pending — wait for the wallet-scoped job and later notification.
