Auto-Claim Guide

Auto-Claim periodically looks for eligible resolved positions and queues redemption or clearing work for your wallet.

Before You Start

  • What is Auto-Claim? A background feature that checks for eligible redeemable positions after Polymarket resolution.
  • Winning positions: Your payout is claimed into your pUSD tradable balance.
  • Losing positions: Shares are cleared from your portfolio (no payout).
Reduce manual redemption work

Resolution, redeemability, queue processing, provider response, and blockchain confirmation are separate stages, so Auto-Claim is not instant.

How Auto-Claim Works

  1. A Polymarket market resolves (outcome is determined).
  2. PolyBot detects your positions in that market are now redeemable.
  3. If Auto-Claim is enabled:
    • Winning positions: Payout is automatically claimed.
    • Losing positions: Shares are automatically cleared.
  4. You receive a notification with the results.
  5. Winnings appear in your tradable balance.

Enabling Auto-Claim

Auto-Claim is disabled by default. To enable it:

  1. Go to ⚙️ Settings.
  2. Find Auto-Claim Positions.
  3. Tap to toggle ON (✅).

You can also toggle it in Mini App → All Tools → Settings → Automations.

The setting persists for your account. Eligible positions are processed when the background checks can see and redeem them.

What Gets Claimed

Winning Positions 🏆

When you correctly predicted the outcome:

  • Your shares are redeemed into your tradable balance.
  • Payout = Shares × $1.00.
  • pUSD funds are added to your wallet after redemption completes.

Example:

  • You hold 100 shares of "Yes" at 40¢.
  • Market resolves "Yes" wins.
  • Payout: 100 × $1.00 = $100.

Losing Positions 💀

When you predicted incorrectly:

  • Your shares become worthless.
  • They're cleared from your portfolio.
  • No payout (shares were worth $0).

Example:

  • You hold 50 shares of "No" at 30¢.
  • Market resolves "Yes" wins.
  • Your "No" shares are cleared. Payout: $0.

Notifications

When Auto-Claim processes your positions, PolyBot sends you a message:

Manual Redemption

You can always redeem positions manually, even with Auto-Claim enabled:

  1. Go to 📊 Portfolio.
  2. Find the resolved position (marked as redeemable).
  3. Tap Redeem for one position, or Claim all when multiple winning positions are available.
  4. Confirm the redemption.
  5. If you see Redeem Pending, the wallet-scoped redemption job is queued and you will receive a later status update.

When Auto-Claim Runs

  • Auto-Claim checks for redeemable positions periodically.
  • There may be a short delay between market resolution and automatic redemption.
  • There is no guaranteed completion time. Market resolution, redeemability, indexing, queue backoff, provider health, and blockchain confirmation can all add delay.

Eligibility and position size

Auto-Claim processes positions that satisfy the active service's redeemability and configured eligibility rules. Runtime minimums or provider behavior can change, so a position being resolved does not by itself guarantee immediate processing.

Troubleshooting

Position Not Auto-Claimed

Check these:

  1. Is Auto-Claim enabled in Settings?
  2. Has the market actually resolved? (Check Polymarket)
  3. Allow time for settlement, indexing, and the next worker pass.

Redemption Failed

Occasionally, redemption may fail due to:

  • Network congestion
  • Temporary API issues

Solution: The system retries automatically. If still not claimed after some time, try manual redemption.

Don't See Payout in Wallet

  1. Wait for the blockchain/provider status to complete.
  2. Use 🔄 Refresh on the wallet screen.
  3. Check the notification for the exact amount claimed.

Auto-Claim Was Disabled

Auto-Claim settings persist. If it's suddenly off:

  1. Re-enable it in ⚙️ Settings.
  2. Check that you're in the correct account.

Privacy & Control

  • Your keys, your funds: Auto-Claim only redeems positions — it never moves funds out of your wallet.
  • Toggle anytime: Enable or disable Auto-Claim whenever you want.
  • No external access: Redemption happens within your self-custodial Safe wallet.
