Smart Wallet Discovery
Discovery helps you find public Polymarket traders before creating a copy-trading subscription. Open Smart Wallets or Copy Trading → Discover in Telegram, or All Tools → Discovery in the Mini App.
Browse and rank traders
Discovery can rank traders by metrics such as profit or trading volume and filter results by time period, including 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, and all time. Available category and ranking filters are shown in the active interface.
Open a trader to review the public performance data PolyBot has available, then either:
- start a copy-trading setup;
- open the trader's public Polymarket profile; or
- return to the leaderboard and compare other traders.
Smart Wallet signals
When Smart Wallet analysis is enabled, PolyBot may show additional context such as a score, whether the wallet appears copyable, and a suggested copy margin. These are analytical signals—not endorsements, guarantees, or instructions to trade.
The analysis can be unavailable or incomplete when a wallet lacks enough history, data is delayed, or the feature is not enabled for your account.
Add a trader directly
You do not have to use the leaderboard. Copy Trading accepts:
- a Polymarket/Ethereum wallet address;
- a Polymarket profile URL; or
- a Polymarket
@username.
PolyBot resolves profile inputs to the underlying wallet before creating the subscription.
How to evaluate a trader
Look beyond headline PnL:
- Time window — one strong day is different from sustained results.
- Volume and position size — high PnL may come from much larger capital.
- Market concentration — results in one category may not transfer elsewhere.
- Open risk — unrealized positions can change historical-looking performance.
- Trade frequency — a fast trader can create more slippage and skips for followers.
- Liquidity — your execution price can differ from the leader's.
Past performance and a high score do not guarantee future results. Public data can also arrive late or be revised after fills and settlements are indexed.
From discovery to copying
Before activating a subscription:
- Choose fixed or proportional sizing.
- Set a daily cap.
- Set price, slippage, category, and trade-size filters.
- Review post-copy exit controls.
- Start small and monitor Activity for executed, skipped, and failed trades.
A wallet can have at most three active copy-trading subscriptions in total. See the Copy Trading Guide for all controls and risks.
Troubleshooting
- No Smart Wallet details — the feature may be gated or the wallet may not have enough data.
- Profile not resolved — send the full profile URL, exact
@username, or wallet address. - Metrics differ from Polymarket — time windows, indexing, and metric definitions can differ; refresh both sources.
- Copy button unavailable — you may have reached the active-subscription limit or the wallet is not currently eligible.
